The Dutch international player Edgar Davids is going to join Tottenham Hotspur from Inter-Milan, (Italy) on a free transfer following a medical examination.
It is rumoured that the Spurs head coach, Martin Jol, has been actively seeking to secure Davids since the end of last season. Davis is considered as one of the great midfield players, his career spans 15 years at the top flight with 74 caps for the Netherlands.
Davids has experience playing for Ajax, AC Milan, Inter Milan, Barcelona and Juventus and has won numerous trophies. The player was apparently unhappy at Inter having only played a few games all season. He hopes that he can start as many games as possible for Spurs and he may even finish his career there.
