Scotland's Chance To Make The World Stand in Awe

The efforts of crooners for Scotlands chance to host the Commonwealth Games got some more support when the United Kingdom's sports ministers came forward and pitched in the campaign. This happened at a conference which included the sports ministers of thye UK and also the culture minister.
The sports minister said that the biggest thing that it will do is showcase Scotland to the world and people will be able to see the benefits of travelling to and doing business in Scotland. They will see Scotland in all its glory.
The true effect of the games will be after all the hype is over and when the stadiums are gone. The people of Scotland would benefit from economic growth and the Games should also provide employement and other economic benefits to the unemployed of Glasgow.
The UK will be hosting the Olympic Games in 2012 in London after beating a bid by Paris to host the Games.
