Man United to get transfer funds

Son of the new Manchester United owner Malcolm, Joel Glazer has dismissed any talk of a cap on the transfer fees paid stating that funds will be available if and when necessary in order to strengthen the squad.
His aim: to field the best team; the board will provide it all including the manager with any necessary resources. Putting an end to all speculations, Joel opined that there just couldn’t physically be caps in this game, or infact in any sport.
The club had previously signed players like Wayne Rooney for £27 million and the chief of Man U have said they would move on this same road. He also condemned any reports that manager Alex Ferguson had a transfer budget which was capped at 25 million pounds per annum.
In a statement made specifically to clear any doubts of commitment, he said that the club is a treasure to the local community and to the country, it is followed throughout the football world and therefore has to be taken very seriously. 'The commitment will be seen primarily on the field', he added.
The support of the fans is the Glazer board’s next target, as they are very agitated with the takeover. We, here at JDP would like to wish him a whole load of luck.
We say this as the chief members of the board had to be escorted by security from Old Trafford on Wednesday evening following fights between police and fans protesting at the American businessman's hostile takeover.
