Steven Gerrard, the Liverpool Captain, scored a hat-trick as the club started their defense of the Champions League Title against a Welsh team TNS.

Steve Gerrard has been involved in numerous reports that he was going to leave the club to join Chelsea, but it seems that his performance last night ended such a suggestion. He scored his first goal in just under 8 minutes.
