Figo move is not likely

Management at Liverpool have denied plans that they will be signing Real Madrid's 32-year-old winger Luis Figo. Although there were talks that Figo would leave the Bernabeu on a free transfer, the Liverpool management said that too many complications came with signing Luis.
Real Madrids director said that they do not wish for Figo to leave them for no fee as there is still over 1yr on his contract with them and since they have had no bids from Liverpool he will stay and play. Other clubs are also expressing interest in acquiring Figo, such as Inter Milan.
