He cautioned that the charge would be vital to determine whether the industry takes REITs up or not. Meanwhile, it has been suggested by Legal Week that the real estate lawyers are preparing for an increase in business related to the different aspects of establishing REITs.
David Lane, a real estate partner ar Lovells said that REITs might have a big impact on the property sector. He further said that it would work for law firms by listing companies preparing to convert into REITs and setting up new REITs.
