Mortgages Soaring High

The month of June stood as a witness to a smooth and steady increase in the process of approval of mortgages. This was a hint at the fact that the prospects for a reducing interest rates are exerting a strong thrust on the property market of UK.
According to the Association of the British Bankers approvals shot up by five percent to touch 70,750 in the month of June while they stood at 67,702 in the previous months. This is the highest in a year. Still, they are much lower than the previous year’s twenty percent. Net lending of mortgages has gone up by 4.6 billion pounds in the previous month whereas it was only 4.5 billion pounds during the same time a year back.
The Association of British Bankers furthur added that the mortgage market in UK remained healthy. The ABB collects very detailed information on mortgage trends and patterns.
