9 Causes Of Cancer

Nine factors have been found to be the causes of death by cancer. This was found out in a study by the Harvard School of Public Health. A few are:1.Obesity 2.Low fruit and vegetable intake 3.Lack of exercise 4.Smoking 5.Alcohol 6.Unsafe Sex 7.Urban Air pollution. It noted smoking was more rampant than the other causes. The study showed that it caused 21% of cancer deaths.
In order to prevent these causes from further affecting deaths by cancer, taking measures to proytect ones self from it at an early stage is the only way to go. If you dont give the cancer a chance to grow now it will not grow especially if the above mentioned factors haven’t started working on a person.
The recent and modern methods of prevention are much more effective due to the progress made in the treatment of cancer. These new methods of treating cancer don’t work well with cancers of high mortality rates like pancreatic and liver cancer. In these cases one should use the method of modifiable factors since it works best for high mortality cases.
One sure way to prevent cancer that has been time tested is reducing risk factors as much as possible. More than coming up with medicines to battle it, people should be figuring out ways to reduce risk factors like smoking! Take away what causes it!
The study observed that particular parts of the world had more people suffering from one cause than another cause and that changed with respect to the region in question. For example, smoking hit more people in Asia and obesity and lack of exercise hit more people in the West. The study was only a small part a bigger project worldwide consisting of research done by over 100 researchers. It was called the Comparative Risk Assessment group.
Each of them collected information of the chief causes of each region of the disease. Based on this information, the different factors related to each other analysing their rampancy, risk factor and the particular kind of cancer most commonly found in that region. Also sourcing them with information was the World Bank and the WHO.
