American travelers undeterred by London attacks

In spite of the recent terror attacks in London, Americans are still flying to fly to London and riding the underground trains. It doesn't and certainly shouldn't change the risk of worldwide travel as there is always going to be a risk, unfortunate as it may seem.
As we are more and more familiarised with terrorist attacks worldwide, our attitude seems to reflect the Americans adaptation after the 11th of September. Airlines and travel agents show that although people are cautious they are still carrying on. Few people are changing travel plans and although the airline industry had lost more than $7 billion, and laid off 80,000 employees post 11th September; no such dramatic effects where seen following 7th July London attacks.
The President of Casto, a Californian travel agency which directly handles many corporate accounts, holding 300 customers traveling in London each day, released a statement to show that the American traveller understands that while terror attacks are highly unfortunate, they are a reality that we just have to deal with.
