Clemmow Hornby Inge Bags Marketing Deal

Clemmow Hornby Inge landed a huge blow on Saatchi & Saatchi when they bagged Toyotas UK tactical advertising rights. Their selection makes them the first UK company in the nation to handle a Toyota account. Their opponents in the competition were Saatchi & Saatchi and Miller Bainbridge, a marketing agency.
Under the agreement that the company now has with Toyota, it will come up with marketing strategies to advertise the company. This change of hands from Saatchi & Saatchi to Clemmow Hornby Inge happened in ’05. They were a part of the company’s new appointments by its Brussels office. It started out in February when a deal worth eight million pounds fell in their lap when they marketed Toyotas new product, Avgo.
They targeted the younger market with that campaign (between eighteen and thirty five years olds). Their next stint with the company came when they were given the marketing deal for Corolla, another model of the company, with no effort of their own. It was worth thirty five million pounds. Two months later, they got the deal for the marketing for Yaris (worth fifty million pounds).
The next on the list of conquests was the deal previously with Saatchi’s. They “stole” the marketing deal that they had with Toyota to market Avgo and Yaris brands in the United Kingdom. The car making company puts in 2.5 billion pounds into their marketing strategies every year. It is the 4th biggest spender on marketing from among world companies. Their account with Saatchi’s is Saatchi’s second biggest.
