Man Wins Poker Event

Written by JDPGlobal | Wednesday, 30 November 2005

James Hawkins has won the biggest poker prize you could ever win by law in Canada. He was a contestant in a competition, which took place in Richmond. It was a four-day event and went into the late hours of the night to finish almost on the next morning. His prize after the effort was Three Hundred and Eighty Two Thousand Dollars. He had been playing the game for some time when he took part in the tournament.

The event itself had more than a thousand participants from the US and from Canada. The three events were organised over four days. It is a hope that this will be repeated annualy. The sudden increase in interest in the game is because the game has penetrated into the world in the form of online poker rooms, which are easy to access. Online poker is the most famous form in which the game is played.
