A pioneer of software gaming systems, namely Chartwell Technology Inc, announced the launch of its online poker community. The Firm launched by the main supplier to the remote gaming industry is called PokerNexus.
The integrated poker team of Chartwell has launched the poker community with all the features, back-end tool-set and functionality that is needed to compete in the contemporary poker environment. Though launched initially with a couple of European clients, Chartwell will now grow with the aid of a number of new clients from Europe. This is supposed to happen before the Company's fiscal year-end.
The new poker community would be a network of independent online poker pubs that are managed by Eliteclub Management N.V. They are also the exclusive service provider to Chartwell licensees. Under the new system, each member in the network will retain full control, confidentiality of the players and statistics that allow them to utilise the present payment systems and guarantee a completely secure environment for their players.
PokerNexus, which is managed and supported by experienced poker players and gaming operators, is the most independent poker network of the present day. The company in fact happened as a consequence of the acquisition of Micropower. Market analysts believe that the new venture would meet two key objectives of the poker strategy. A poker software that is highly advanced and a greatly experienced poker team would enable the firm to launch a scalable, feature-rich product that fulfills client needs.
This new technology also provides the platform of a unique business plan that helps the community clients to capitalise on an exciting segment of games. The anticipated revenues from poker related activities are supposed to form the lions share of Chartwell’s earnings in the coming years.
Poker is the undisputed king in the fast growing segment of the online game industry. A statistics for the past two years shows that online player participation per month averages 1.8 million. An estimate by Global Betting and Gaming Consultants (GBGC) shows that the annual poker industry returns are nearly $1.5 billion and the predicted growth is even stronger.
