The poker greats vied for a shot at becoming overnight millionaires at the Monte Carlo Millions, after playing an intense tournament. The buy-in $25,000 event started at 12 pm, with each player having $50,000 in chips. As of now, the international field starts with 60 of the world’s most renowned poker players and skilled amateurs. The prize money is the largest ever in a European poker tournament.
Players are from more than 20 different nations and they’re contending for the championship title. A person could track his favourite player. At the end of day one, current chip leader, Marc Goodwin won a stack of $231,700. Through satellites, five of the top 20 chip leaders went to the Monte Carlo Millions.
